About

Lyndsey is a provisional psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She believes that engaging wholeheartedly in therapy provides an incredible opportunity to see positive changes in your life. Along with using scientifically based knowledge, Lyndsey views the relationship developed between the therapist and client as a basis for change. She values peace, understanding, empathy and balance; and aims to tailor therapy to individuals based on their values, needs, concerns, and worldview.

Lyndsey has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Some of the concerns she has worked with include: anxiety, depression, relational issues, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), autism, stress, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, suicidality, and borderline personality disorder. She uses a person-centered approach and incorporates aspects of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment theory, solution focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, and psychoeducation into her practice.
